There will be a satellite workshop following the main Cardiac Physiome meeting on Thursday 27th April, entitled “Pharmaceuticals and the Cardiac Physiome”. Following satellite meetings dedicated to the modelling aspects of the Comprehensive In-vitro Pro-arrhythmia Assay (CiPA, www.cipaproject.org) in 2017 and 2021, we are broadening the topic of this year’s satellite meeting to also include modelling the action of pharmaceuticals beyond just QT/Torsade-de-Pointes risk, to include therapies and other safety concerns, in-silico clinical trials for pharmaceuticals, and beyond electrophysiology to mechanics and circulatory effects as well. Please submit abstracts on these topics to the main Cardiac Physiome meeting call and they will be automatically considered for the satellite meeting too.
