JOIN US for the 2013 Cardiac Physiome Workshop in Bar Harbor, Maine, October 17-19, 2013. The meeting is sponsored by the Virtual Physiological Rat Project, a National Center for Systems Biology, and follows successful meetings in San Diego (2012 and 2005), Oxford (2011 and 2006), Cambridge (2009), and Auckland (2008). The workshop will focus on computational modeling in conjunction with experimental and clinical studies of cardiac physiology disease. Sessions will cover molecular to whole-organ cardiac function, control of coronary blood flow, and the Physiome Project and Virtual Physiological Human. We have three outstanding Plenary Lectures scheduled, and session speakers are internationally established leaders in the field.
Online meeting registration is now CLOSED. Hotel reservations at the reduced meeting rate can be made directly with the Bar Harbor Regency, which is where the meeting will take place. In addition to invited short talks, there will be ample time and facilities devoted to poster sessions, and poster submissions will be welcomed and encouraged. Prizes will be awarded for the best Graduate Student and Post-Doctoral Researcher posters. The workshop format is designed to encourage networking and informal interactions.
